Taking place on March 25th from 9pm-12am, Black Light District 2 is a collection of provocative and symbolic works by artist Iris Bonner, notoriously known as Thesepinklips.   Imagine a penthouse fully decorated in Thesepinklips aesthetic with art/fashion live elements.  In addition to installations, furniture, lamps and paintings there will be live art and body painted models all illuminated under dozens o f black lights.

Inspired from the images of her own mind —sex, women, burgers and  yes, pussy—are often used boldly throughout her work, as an attempt to emancipate the very things  that she suggest are being objectified.  The show celebrates women's history month in a nod to her first Black Light District show. Attendees should expect an art experience like never before with much to take in.  The show intent is to stimulate all your senses. Drink from the Pussy Bar or grab a bite from the Burger Bar, as your eyes dance over patterns and colorS, vibrating the room.

The show is sure to shock.  Yes, Bonner is sticking to her artistic style which is known to be shocking. Yet, there’s an unknown component that makes this show a little different. Why? Because these works, for the most part, were never intended to be seen. "There are definitely a few surprises I wanted to share with my audience," says Bonner. "I wanted to expose my ideas in a new way."

Tickets will be limited so do not wait to purchase.  This event will portray what an ‘art experience’ truly is. Some will embrace the art, while others may reject the notions of what the art depicts.  In either case, you don't want to miss the excitement of what this show will uncover.
